Synopsis
A compassionate comedy about families, food, burger bars, restaurants, chocolate, sex, anorexia, plumbing, hope, love and much else, including spoons. Andy is a professional chef and part-time DIY enthusiast who buys a decrepit hamburger van. His wife helps out at a restaurant owned by a friend. Of their daughters, Nicola suffers from anorexia, and is also obsessed with men and Marxism, while Natalie, an apprentice plumber, refuses the stereotyped female image and dreams of escaping to America.
